A long established leading figure in Russian jazz and an internationally acclaimed pianist Daniel Kramer will visit London to perform two live concerts exclusively for the audience of the PizzaExpress Jazz Club.

The innovator of Russia's jazz scene and artistic director of no less than four jazz festivals, he lectures at Moscow State Conservatory and Central Music School also being the Chairman of the Jazz Department at the Modern Art University in Moscow. Kramer is an awardee of an array of prestigious prizes, Honored Artist of Russia and Gustav Mahler European Award to name a few. While many of his works are widely used on television and radio, he continues to perform extensively around the globe collaborating with a variety of top European musicians both in jazz and classical genres.

The new initiative launched by A.M. Promotions in cooperation with Pizza Express presents the concerts of some of the most original and distinctive jazz artists from the continental Europe. During this year’s spring and summer seasons the series will explore the jazz influences of Eastern and Central Europe and will be featuring a number of truly mesmerising performances of some unique figures in modern jazz.

The series aims to broaden the horizons of the London jazz scene with the introduction of the musicians who are already established and popular in many countries of Europe and the world. Varied from the experimental approach of Strigalev/Ramm Quartet to the virtuosic tapping passages of legendary Enver Izmailov these showcases offer a unique chance to experience the diversity of multicultural influences and simply enjoy music of a highest quality at the world famous PizzaExpress Jazz Club.
