The show enables Si to return to his singing roots and pay tribute to the great singers that inspired him Sam Cooke, Jackie Wilson and Otis Redding among others and has already sold out the 1000 seater Ashcroft Theatre of Croydon back in the summer.
The new six piece band comprising of vintage upright bass by veteran of the rocking blues Stewart Pannaman and a powerful brass section featuring Ed Benstead and Dan Faulkner. On drums in having played for Grammy nominee James Hunter is Mike Watts and on guitar is local superstar Chris Corcoran.
All of the above musicians have played and toured with many of the Doo Wop stars of the circuit and really know how to deliver that true authentic classic soul sound. Having written & produced the UK hit “Kiss On The Lips” Si is also ascending on the evening to showcase a new collection of songs he has written which will exclusively be available in the foyer on a brand new CD entitled “Skinny Jeans”.
