Snake Davis with Burden Of Paradise
Summer Spectacular
This project sees Snake teaming up with singer Helen Watson. Hailing from Manchester, Helen has a unique style and strong distinctive voice, crossing the boundaries between jazz, blues, soul and folk.
The two first worked together many years ago. Snake played on Helen’s Blue Slipper album, which also featured Albert Lee and members of Little Feat. They made various TV appearances together and toured Europe opening up for Joe Cocker.
This new project includes Dave Bowie and Mark Creswell from The Suspicions, Dave playing double bass. Snake Dave and Mark met at Leeds College of Music, all 3 enrolling on the jazz course on the same day, more years ago than they care to mention! With no drummer in the line up this is going to be an acoustic show, great songs, poignancy, passion and a lot of fun too. Will definitely appeal to all ages and across the board of musical taste.
