Winner of Downbeat Critics Poll 2012 – Rising Star Vocalist…This award winning singer whose style incorporates elements of jazz, soul, blues and gospel. She made her professional debut in 2001 has enjoyed a whirlwind of success and great critical acclaim rarely seen in the jazz world, from The LA Times to the Washington Post, from the Miami Herald to the Chicago Tribune. These dates at PizzaExpress come near the end of a European tour during which the band will headline at the prestigious San Sebastian Jazz Festival, in Spain and concert dates in Italy, Spain and the UK. The group will be performing original material, both old and new written; and hip arrangements of songs from the worlds of gospel, folk, soul and jazz. Absolutely not to be missed!

Bruce Barth is without doubt one of the great jazz pianists of our time. He has been sharing his music with listeners the world over for more than two decades. Deeply rooted in the jazz tradition, his music reflects both the depth and breadth of his life and musical experiences. Throughout his professional life, Bruce has had extended collaborations with Tony Bennett, Steve Wilson, Terell Stafford, Luciana Souza, and David Sanchez.
Stephen Keogh is a drummer who works all around the world with many of the top names in Jazz. He is known for is versatility and accompanying skills, and is the drummer of choice for numerous Jazz legends from the USA including Bobby Watson and Charles McPherson. During the last 30 years he has toured and recorded with many of the great names in Jazz including Benny Carter, Brad Mehldau, Mark Turner, Bill Charlap, Art Farmer, Benny Golson, Bruce Barth, Edward Simon and many more.
Nick Dunston is highly talented young bassist from New York who was awarded a scholarship at the GMF London Jazz Workshop April 2014. During the last 2 years he has been participant in youth big band and Jazz Discovery Programme at top New York Jazz Club; The Jazz Standard, under the direction of David O’Rourke. Having left a deep impression on everyone at the festival in London with his playing and his dedicated attitude he returns to London for what will be his first professional overseas engagement.

Cheeky, charming and charismatic are three words that come to mind when summing up Jamie Johnson. In early 2014 Jamie become a household name after reaching the finals of The Voice-heading up Team Kylie- but his musical journey began long before then.
Jamie started performing in Kent in 2009, starting off in a grime band that performed at local pubs and festivals. After catching the performing bug Jamie realised his true calling as a singer songwriter, and in 2010 his solo career began. All 1,000 copies of ‘Cloudy Skies’, Jamie’s self-written debut was snapped up quickly.
In 2012 Jamie joined forces with friend and guitarist Alby Wallbank, with whom he formed Brothers at Heart, and released debut single ‘I’d Steal the Stars’. Another of the duo’s highlights was a slot at a sold out gig at the prestigious Roundhouse in Camden.
