Fronted by Sasha Patterson who captivates you with her voice and diverse ability to cross genres without any effort, they have been getting people on their feet with songs such as "Nobody Else" and "Love Go Blind".

The band are eclectic as individuals and all bring their experiences to what can only be described as a musical family of soul who have played many a venue and were brought together by the love of what they do best, including recently The Ginglik, Bar Rumba, George IV(Chiswick),The Watershed, The Cobden Club, Liquid Nation with many more ahead.

With the newly appointed Horn section in the form of Simon Platts and Paul Brickles, who have given yet another beautiful layer of melodic triumph, the band are recording their upcoming EP which will be due out in Spring 2010 so watch this space and you can be sure that Bambus City Strut will be the name that you will recognise for 2010 in the UK.

New Venue

Kings Road - PizzaExpress - SW3

The Pheasantry on the Kings Rd is a building with an amazing history and a rich musical heritage. Initially this was a royal household sat amongst with rolling fields full of pheasants which were hunted for sport, hence the title. Over the last 100 years it has become famous for its artistic connections. During the 1930’s to 1950’s the first floor was the home of a ballet school headed up by a Russian princess. This room still has the original wooden floors and some very famous dancers indeed trained in this room.

During the swinging 60’s the Pheasantry became a bohemian place to hang out, within its walls Germaine Greer wrote the female eunuch, Eric Clapton lived, and the Beatles had one of their album sleeves photographed. Moving to the 70’s the lower floor became a music club, Queen, Hawkwind and Yvonne Elliman all performed in this intimate venue and now we are bringing this historic music venue back to life.
